Patterson the Platypus

Patterson the Platypus is a true Aussie swagman who simply loves his life in the bush. Much like the swagman in Banjo Patterson’s famous poem, “Waltzing Matilda”, this outdoorsy marsupial enjoys camping under the shade of a coolabah tree. You’ll often find him by the billabong and taking a dip to cool off.

Standing about 29cm tall by 13cm wide, Patterson is a plush creature made from felt, and firmly stuffed for that nice, solid, huggable feeling. He is hand-stitched and embellished with brass buttons. He carries a felt swag, attached to a wooden stick.

As with all of the Creature Collective range, this cute little Platypus is designed to delight and bring joy to your household! I hope you enjoy him as much as I’ve enjoyed creating him!

When you place your order, I get making. All of our Creatures are originals, handmade from scratch and made to order — and unique in their own way. Your Creature will be shipped within approximately 1-2 weeks of placing your order (I’ll notify you when it’s on it’s way!). Some variations to clothing colours are possible — just send me a message and we can discuss.

All items are shipped in Australia with tracking, and for International orders with tracking to some destinations.
